Luxury Stranger to play at DV8Fest, York, 17/07/10

Luxury Stranger are proud to be playing at York's very own festival of dark alternative music and culture! 15-18th July 2010:

"DV8Fest is the UK's newest goth festival, created to celebrate all the best elements of the alternative scene, showcasing talents from Goth and Industrial, to Post-Punk, Rockabilly and Deathrock in a 4 day event in the beautiful and historic City of York."

Other bands announced include Glass, Screaming Banshee Aircrew, Romance, The Eden House, Rhombus and Pretentious, Moi?.....the list now stands at 45 bands:)

Luxury Stranger at Wave Gotik Treffen, Leipzig, 22/05/10

Luxury Stranger recently appeared at Wave Gotik Treffen on the Werk II stage, supporting Joy/Disaster, Chameleonsvox, Gene Loves Jezebel and Pink Turns Blue.

Many thanks to those that came down to see us, especially to those that had travelled from the UK! We had an excellent time, and it was amazing to be part of the event which has become synonymous with superb venues, sound, organisation and line-ups.

Luxury Stranger support Levinhurst in Holland 04/03/10 and Germany, 05/03/10

Luxury Stranger recently supported ex-Cure members Lol Tolhurst and Michael Dempsey's new project Levinhurst in Holland and Germany.

Luxury Stranger join with Go! Music Agency for Dutch gigs

Go! Music are now our representatives for all performances in the Netherlands. They also represent Levinhurst (Lol Tolhurst and Michael Dempsey's new project), IAMX, The Exploding Boy as well as being the booking agent for various European festivals.

Sell-out show in Dresden, Germany 19/12/09, supporting Die Art

Luxury Stranger were recently honoured to be invited to appear as special guests at GrooveStation, Dresden on 19/12/09. They supported Germany's postpunk legends Die Art, who rounded off a successful year at a homecoming show in Dresden. The show was a sell-out, with over 350 people in attendance.

Luxury Stranger triumphant on sold-out YNot Festival Main Stage

Luxury Stranger recently appeared at the prestigious Y Not Festival this summer, alongside Nine Black Alps, The Young Knives, Esser, Johnny Foreigner and many more...

Luxury Stranger sign to Major Digital

Luxury Stranger have signed a worldwide digital distribution deal with Major Digital - the digital arm of Major Records, based in Hamburg, DE.

They offer worldwide digital distribution, management, publishing, booking and promotion, where we'll be labelmates with artists such as IAMX, Ladytron, X-Perience, Boytronic, Scarlet Soho, Obscenity Trial and Mechanical Cabaret.

The band plan to sell physical copies of 'Desolation' at future gigs and other LS events as well as through mail order.
